Joseph Frederick brings a vast knowledge of client experience and practical solutions to guide clients toward their goals. In joining Wisdom Financial Management’s fee-based planning and money management services, a model more closely aligning with clients’ objectives, Joe advises clients on protecting their hard-earned financial assets while working diligently to help grow them and helps guide access to risk management for the client’s portfolio.
Before coming to Wisdom Financial, Joe held financial roles for the Aircraft Maintenance Global Division at United Parcel Services. Prior to UPS, he was a Golf Professional for 25 years, successfully operating key golf country clubs in Louisville and Southern Indiana. Joe played professionally for several years, competing on the Emerald Coast Professional Golf Tour in Florida. In his career, he competed against PGA Tour professionals Boo Weekly, Heath Slocum, Joe Durant, Bubba Watson, among others. Joe also played the Hooter’s tour events in Louisville at Seneca Golf Course.
Joe’s comprehensive, client-centered educational approach, as well as analytical and coaching skills, stem from his experience teaching and coaching in a sport requiring physical and mental acuity. Joe guided Trinity High School’s golf team for 16 years as a positive role model in the community. His efforts led the team to the 2003 Kentucky State Golf Championship and set the state scoring record for ten years. This teaching experience is deeply reflected in his understanding client behavior, similarly moving them to positive outcomes.
With Wisdom, Joe aims to get investments, insurance, education, retirement, estate, and tax planning into one “living” financial plan to maximize efficiencies and minimize gaps that could leave clients under-prepared and under-protected. He also seeks input from tax advisors and other professionals, enhancing the plan’s long-term integrity. By applying his experiential knowledge, he enables both individuals and business clients to make informed decisions.
Joe Frederick is registered with FINRA (Series 7, 63, and 66) and is licensed to provide life, health insurance, annuity, and variable annuities in the states listed in the disclosures on this website. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and resides in Louisville with his wife, Tracy, and two daughters, Hyllie and Julia.
